The beginnings of a modest tailoring service shop took place at a small commercial building around the corner of España and Cataluña, set in Manila 1968.
The timing of the startup was perfect in the ‘60s and ‘70s, when the Philippines was one of the largest exporters of manufactured commodities such as garments. Kingsmen was able to tap into the export industry and supply good reliable labor for international menswear brands. Therefore, business grew exponentially not only for the mass manufacturing business, but it seemed everyone needed a well-tailored barong or suit, and as Kingsmen did it first, they had also done it best.
Today, Kingsmen stands all the wiser, serving its same purpose as the day it started and more. The company’s persistence is a stalk of palay, swaying and waving boldly—resilient in ebb and flow of strong wind and flood. It is exactly the kind of attitude that Kingsmen gentlemen exude, because they do not just wear the clothes, they also wear the story.

Our custom 2-piece suit (a single breasted coat, and a pair of trousers) can range from 28,200 to 37,700 pesos, depending on fabric quality and yardage. Signature and branded fabrics from Italy and England are also available and start at 35,700 pesos. Suits usually take 2 weeks before the first fitting, and another week before the final fitting--3 weeks in total unless otherwise stated. We do recommend coming in earlier so you have a total of 4-5 weeks before you need your attire. During peak seasons, lead time will take a few days longer
